Shopping can be found at Betty’s Boutique, Ostrander Garden & Gifts, and Midway Market. Further shopping, dining, and entertainment can be found about 15 minutes away in the vivid city of Delaware.
Another popular spot in Ostrander is Leeds Farm, which offers tours and farm events for individuals, small groups, and large groups. Activities include hayrides, zip-lining, pig races, slides, and pedal cars.
Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to stop by Mill Creek Golf Club to enjoy a game.
Beautiful Outdoor Recreation
With plenty of open spaces, green, and trees, Ostrander enjoys easy access to the great outdoors. One of its biggest outdoor recreational areas is the Blues Creek Preserve, named for the creek that crosses its northern end. In addition to the creek, this preserve and park offers plenty of forested nature-watching, miles of trails through the trees, a catch-and-release fishing pond, picnic areas, a playground, and even a sledding hill.
