Westerville City School District serves a 52-square-mile section of northeastern Franklin and southern Delaware Counties comprised of over 14,000 students. The district consists of 15 elementary schools, three of which are Magnet Program schools, four middle schools, and three high schools. It is recognized statewide as an exemplary school district and is among the top districts in Ohio.

Achievements

Westerville City School District has been continually recognized by the Ohio Department of Edcuation as a high-performing school district and most recently earned Straight A’s in the “Progress” category on the state report card. All three of the district’s high schools have been recognized by Newsweek as being among the top in the nation. Additionally, these schools regularly earn the “What Parents Want” award from SchoolMatch, which recognizes parent expectations for challenging curriculum.
